Formula and method
New temperature = Start + Δ. A change of 1 K equals 1 °C but 1.8 °F.
Worked example
Starting at 20 °C and rising by 10 °C gives 30 °C (86 °F).
Tips
- Temperature differences convert differently from temperatures: multiply Celsius changes by 1.8 to get Fahrenheit changes.
