How to use the Markdown Table Generator

  1. Set the Number of Rows and Number of Columns and the Default Alignment.
  2. Fill in the cells and press Generate Table Code.
  3. Click Copy Code and paste it into your Markdown file.

Worked example

A table looks like | Name | Age |, then | --- | --- |, then a row such as | Ann | 30 |.

Tips

  • Use :--- for left, :---: for centre and ---: for right alignment.
