How to use the Fuel Cost (Simple)

  1. Enter the Distance (km), your car's Efficiency (L/100km) and the Price (per L).
  2. Press Calculate Trip Cost.

Formula and method

Cost = distance ÷ 100 × L/100 km × price per litre

Worked example

500 km at 8 L/100 km and 1.50 per litre uses 40 L and costs 60.00.
